Schmidt girls shine in championship
Lisanne, Alexandra and Colette Schmidt were part of the 102-woman field competing in the 2009 NH Women’s Golf Association Championship at North Conway Country Club Aug. 4-6. Lisanne placed sixth, shooting 238 for 54 holes; Alex placed 11th with a 243; and Colette placed 27th with a 255.
Vacation Bible School begins Sunday
All children are invited to Grantham United Methodist Church’s annual Vacation Bible School, which begins Sunday, Aug. 16 from 12 to 2 p.m. The remaining two sessions are Monday and Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. For more information, contact Liz Borger at 863-0959.
The Grantham Recreation Department will hold the final two soccer registrations for kindergarten through sixth grade children from 5 to 7 p.m. Aug. 13 and 19 at Grantham Town Hall, lower level. Summer Dance Party

Park crafts end Tuesday

U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen will hold office hours at Dunbar Free Library from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Aug. 21.
August auto registrations due
August vehicle registrations are due by the end of the month. Please bring your current registration for renewal. September registration notices will be sent as soon as possible.
