The big beasts are out
and on the trail… the campaign trail. You may wonder, regardless
of your political affiliation, why so many politicians do such a bad
job for us. Within each party, we call them "(Party
name)-in-name-only", RINO and DINO, meaning that they do not
support the values of that group. The truth: they support the
"no values".
The real problem is
that many politicians in all parties do not support the taxpayer.
These are the politicians who seek power, fame, influence and
prestige and feed on it. They live for it. These are the politicians
the true Republicans and Democrats hold in disdain. You should too.
They choose the values that they think will get them elected and
reelected, not those that will steer the State of New Hampshire down
the right path. They vote for budgets that get them through election
day, knowing it will create a disaster the next year. They think
they will survive it because they will promise anything to any group
for votes to get them to one more election.
When choosing
candidates to support, look for the compromiser, the vacillator, the
guy or gal "everybody" likes. Then support their opponent.
Choose the man or woman who will tell you what you don't want to
hear, and explains why it must be. Over the long-haul you want the
tough, the honest, those who stand for something.
Vote for integrity and
you will reap what you sow.
